Christmas is coming!
I have piles of plastic bags full of Christmas pressie's stacked up (out of reach) in my spare room. I have little idea what is in them and looking at them it would seem I couldn't possibly have missed any one! However I usually have and it's usually my husband!! Poor soul. We are now speeding at break neck speed towards the dreaded day that we all look forward to so much much and yet when it starts and is finished, you realise that the expectation was far more enjoyable!! This year we are going to be fed at my mothers for lunch, my little boy will then sleep and Disney will be the best childcare ever invented! Well, I hope you all have a great Christmas and Santa knows that you really did try and be good this year!

For Little Ladies.

These 3 paintings are really fun, bright and pretty.
I'd love them for Jessica's room, when asked which one she liked she said they were all her favorite! They are the sort of pictures that a little girl will love and wont grow out of for years.
I have bought a domain name today http://www.little-art.co.uk/ there is nothing there as yet. I now need to get it hosted and build a web site. No Problem! Easy! Isn't it? I will probably try and do it myself to begin with...but if that dosen't work I might have to find a 15 year old school kid who knows 100 times what I do about websites and has career aspirations of being a web designer. I'll carry on with the blog until I can get my head round what to do next.

First glimpse!
Its been a couple of months since I created this blog, most of which have been spent at the drawing board. Well, truthfully every Tuesday, Wednesday am, Thursday and a bit of Saturday...childcare permitting!
There have been a number of 'crisis of confidence' moments, when the brush was thrown down in frustration and I stormed from the room...I particularly hated the lion (comming soon) until I realised a couple of days later it was because he looked like a bear having a bad hair day! I hope I have solved that issue...the lion now has a new face. I decided that I was approaching this process from the wrong direction. Instead of thinking 'what do people want to buy?' (and following my Fathers advice) I started to paint for myself...from that point I've been having a lot of fun.
Many of my family and friends have been asking to see what I'm doing and I think I'm ready to show a glimpse of what I've done so far. I have some 'Boy's' paintings and nursery designs which I'll add as soon as possible. I'd be happy to receive your comments.
